Wave splashes - catching the right moment
I've been watching at wave splashes for a long time, in my mind I could sort see that happening in stop motion and it was so beautiful, the water was breaking into many pieces making really peculiar shapes and they would shift shapes, merge, split or blow up into tiny drops.
Never noticed such properties of the surface of water anywhere else, possibly I was not looking for it. The shot above is 1/4000 of a second, wish I could show that in motion.
I took many pictures of splashes when I had nothing else to do and I'll be posting them soon. For now the last macro shot of a small wave before it breaks.
As you see, even the tiniest waves can be interesting, though as usual, I almost ruined the camera which is not splash proof.
See my next post for more pictures!
