Huge hydra fluorescence
Usually hydras contract the moment they are exposed to fluorescent dyes or UV light. That one was huge and it definitely did not care about either.
Made about 200 shots observing how the coloration was changing during two hours. I used to hate these bastards as they were killing water fleas I was hunting for. Leaving them in the same space would make all my efforts pointless, but when I decided to color them out of rage, I realized how beautiful they can be.
That's actually how it looked like at the beginning, it had less colors.
The hydra was so large that I couldn't make a normal stack, besides, it was constantly moving its tentacles so it was totally impossible to make a panorama-like picture without photoshop tricks.
The resulting images are large! I guess the size is also enough for a poster, I'm really thinking about selling my pics. And by the way, the first picture is cropped, so only 20% of the image appear, the tentacles are normally very long.
p.s. from this post on I won't be mentioning the equipment I used, it's always the same=)
